Dan Abrahamowicz was appointed in 1996 as Vice President for Student Affairs. He oversees a variety of University departments including Intercollegiate Athletics, Campus Recreation, Career Services, Disability Services, Counseling and Wellness Services, University Police Department, Residence Services, Student Health Services, Community Standards and Student Conduct, Student Activities, Student Support Services, and the Student Union.
Dr. Abrahamowicz is a native of Lorain, Ohio and a graduate of Marion L. Steel High School (Amherst, Ohio). He received his Bachelor of Arts degree magna cum laude in economics from Cleveland State University; the Master of Arts degree in student personnel from The Ohio State University; and the Doctor of Philosophy degree with an emphasis in counseling and human services from The University of Toledo.
Dr. Abrahamowicz and his wife, Kelly, have one daughter, Katie.
