Registering for classesFall Semester schedule
When your student attends Orientation, he or she will be encouraged to confirm their fall class schedule with an academic advisor. Some of the initial courses are determined by the results of your student's English and mathematics placement, which is why these tests (if necessary) must be completed before Orientation.
After the first schedule…
Academic advising appointment
During Fall Semester, your student should make an appointment to meet with his/her academic advisor to discuss classes for the next semester. For many students, this is a requirement. If your student does not meet with his/her advisor, he/she may not be able to register.
When to register
Your student can login to WINGS Express (through WINGS) to find the specific date and time when he/she is eligible to register. Registration for each term is divided into two periods, Early Registration and Open Registration. Each period has different due dates and policies regarding the cancellation of registration due to nonpayment by the due date. These dates can be found in the academic calendar.
Registering for classes
Once admitted, most students are eligible to register online through WINGS Express (through WINGS). Students can also register in person during regular business hours at the registration windows of the Registrar’s Office, 244 Student Union.
Students can make changes to their schedules (drop/adds) or completely withdraw from all classes in the same manner. Specific dates and deadlines for registration, dropping classes, and getting a tuition refund can be found in the academic calendar.
