Programs for new college students
The Bolinga Black Cultural Resources Center will offer programs for first-time college students. The center’s orientation program, Pathways, will be held August 20–21 and will include campus tours, gatherings with faculty and staff, and workshops on preparing for college.
This fall, students also may participate in the Ujima Mentoring Program, which is designed to improve student retention by linking mentoring with the work-study experiences of first-time college students.
