Fall UH 101 Service Project

Nicole Berry's UH 101 students, along with students and staff from other universities, spent several hours on October 25, 2008, volunteering at Cox Arboretum.  Part of National Make a Difference Day, volunteers transported piles of soil to a forested area in preparation for spring flowers.  This work, completed in three hours, would have taken arboretum staff a full week to accomplish.

Student Activities

In Fall 2008, Faculty-in-Residence Jane Blakelock led a group of Honors Community students on a hike in Glen Helen in Yellow Springs. Of course, the outing ended with a trip to the "famous" Young's Dairy for treats.
