Patenting Your Idea: Free Library Workshop
If you have an idea and don't know where to start, learn basic information about patenting your idea at this free WSU Libraries' workshop. Offering basic patent information and search techniques for using the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office website and the European Patent Office's Espacenet database. The U.S. becomes a first-to-file, rather than a first-to-invent country on March 16, 2013. This and other changes in U.S. patent law will be discussed.
WSU Libraries are a Patent and Trademark Resource Center and provide the community with access to PubWEST, a web-based examiner search tool (the same patent database used by USPTO examiners).
