The veil (or hijab) means different things to different people within Muslim society and it also means different things to Westerners.  Join us in this panel discussion where Muslim students and members from the Dayton community explain why they have chosen to veil or not to veil, where they grew up and how the decision has affected their education, careers and interaction with others.

Co-sponsored by the Asian and Native American Center and the LEAP (Learning English for Academic and Professional Purposes) Program.

All events are free and open to the public unless noted otherwise.  For more information about past and current events, visit our web site at wright.edu/ana or call the Asian and Native American Center, (937) 775-2798.
