The Office of Disability Services (ODS) recognizes disability as an aspect of diversity that is integral to society and to our campus community. Accessibility is an essential feature of the Wright State campus, and we strive to create an inclusive community for our students, faculty, staff, and guests.
Over 750 students with ADD/ADHD, learning, medical, physical, and/or psychological disabilities participate in our programs. We believe that a student's college education is an opportunity to develop academically, vocationally, and personally. Disability Services is available as one of many resources on that journey; we strive to teach students skills that will assist them as they transition into the professional world. Our focus on independence is the reason that we are ranked as a national leader in accommodating students with disabilities.
In order to receive accommodations, students must complete a confidential registration process. An application (separate from admissions), professional documentation of disability, and a College Accommodation Planning meeting are required prior to utilization of services. Check out the Apply page for details on how to apply today!
