Trustees of the Wright State Foundation

The Wright State Foundation benefits from the expertise of a dedicated Board of Trustees, comprised of leaders in their fields and in community service.

Trustees are elected to three-year terms and each serves on one or more of the six committees of the Foundation Board. The entire board meets three times a year in February, June and October for the annual meeting.

The trustees provide sound guidance and oversight to the operations and investments of the foundation and financial support at levels that inspire others to give as generously.

We deeply appreciate the investment that each foundation trustee makes to further the mission of Wright State University.

I am also very much interested in the Creative Arts Program, which is first class and which I also support as much as I can. I don't know of anything that I don't really like about the school. It is truly growing in many directions, and I am very impressed with the administration and faculty. It has been a great honor and pleasure for me to serve on the Board of the Wright State Foundation."

"1. In general: university education is the best investment that one with the means can make in this country's future. Experience has taught us that you can cure a disease and improve the quality of life for those debilitated; you can fund a business and get a financial return and improve the lives of those employed; or you can educate and prepare the leaders of the future who will improve the welfare of the world!
    2. Specifically, Wright State as an institution is more entrepreneurially led, less confined by the academic status quo and more energetically growing and developing than the great majority of higher learning institutions. Its goals are infinitely more philanthropic, with less political or religious bias than most. And even more importantly, its contribution to the community is immense, in almost every conceivable way. I'm proud to be associated with the likes of David and Steve."

As I worked in education, I have been able to support and encourage the cooperation between Wright State and Vantage Career Center. I will always continue my strong support for Wright State at Vantage Career Center, the Lake Campus and Wright State, Dayton."
