Nursing

What are your hobbies and how are you involved on campus?: I enjoy cooking, painting, and having deep, meaningful conversations. On campus, I currently serve as a Resident Assistant (RA) and actively host events for the Nepalese Student Association. These roles have helped me connect with students from diverse backgrounds and support them both socially and academically.

Describe your personality.  I’m a straightforward and open-minded person who enjoys learning about others through conversation. I respect different perspectives and try to create a safe, welcoming space for everyone. While I take some time to fully open up, I truly enjoy being around people and forming deep, meaningful connections. I’m also very empathetic, which helps me bond with others and be a good listener.

What are you passionate about? I’m passionate about growth both personal and in helping others realize their potential. As an international and first-generation college student, I understand what it’s like to begin with limited guidance. That experience fuels my passion for supporting others especially international and first-year students as they build confidence, find community, and feel a sense of belonging. I’m also deeply committed to my nursing career, where I hope to care for others emotionally and physically.

What are you looking forward to most in mentoring students? I’m most looking forward to connecting with new students, hearing their stories, and making sure they feel welcomed and seen. I want them to know that no matter where they’re from, they belong at WSU. I hope to provide not only helpful tips and resources, but also the encouragement and support that can make their transition smoother and more meaningful.
