Culture Connect is a new program sponsored by ICE and ASU. Events through this program will present an opportunity for fun and learning in the form of off-campus group activities with American/International buddies. The Dunbar Library is a great resource for students! From quiet study areas to MP3 players and e-Readers, there are a lot of services available for international students. Follow the adventures of Alla and Jia on Youtube as they explore the library to see what is offered!

Wright State University is pleased to announce that a new scholarship is available to students of Eastern European descent to attend Wright State. Students are required to have a 2.5 GPA in order to qualify. Scholarships of up to $500 per student can be awarded. The next deadline will be April 1, 2013.

This year's IFA centers around the theme of "Celebrities Around the World" with performances by ethnic groups, colorful displays by our international students, and food from all over the world. The UCIE acts as a catalyst for international education at Wright State University and facilitates an environment where students, faculty, and staff have increased opportunities to gain international understanding through learning and experience.

The University Center for International Education seeks to achieve its mission by serving as the focal point of international education on Wright State's campus by:

    • Coordinating the efforts to recruit, admit, and advise international students and scholars and assist them in achieving academic and personal success.

    • Promoting cross-cultural understanding by developing and coordinating exchange and study abroad opportunities for Wright State University students, faculty, and staff.

    • Collaborating with academic departments and global partners to internationalize the curriculum and seek external funding to support new international initiatives.
