All students know that going to college means classes, books, and studying. It also means grades and a concern for getting good grades.
These aspects of the college experience are a part of this university. The concern with academic achievement is certainly present here and we wish you well in your classes. However, since Wright State is a total university, our concern for students includes a concern for a total college experience achieved through a rich variety of involvement possibilities.
We encourage you to participate fully in college life and become involved with your university both in and out of the class. Look around and you will readily see things like the student union and fitness center, the student newspaper, athletics, intramurals, sororities and fraternities and over 150 other student organizations. These are activities and programs that complement your academics and contribute to a more enjoyable college experience.
The offices of the Division of Student Affairs promise to work to make your college experience exciting and rewarding. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
