Nurse Practitioner with prescription authority for primary care

Appointment required.

Part-time Physician for more serious problems

Appointment required.

Nurse visits for minor illnesses, injuries, and immunizations.

Services Available:

Blood Testing, Pregnancy Tests, Mono Spots, Urine Checks, Strep Screens in the office.
Female/Male Exams
Physicals
Wellness Exams
Suture Removal
Allergy Injections

Screenings (Done throughout the year at various locations)

Dental
HIV
Foot
Blood Pressure

Immunizations (fee charged):

TB tests
MMR
Tetanus/Diphtheria
Flu Shots
Hepatitis Series
Meningitis Vaccines

Student Insurance

Health Insurance may be purchased if you are registered for six or more credit hours.
All claims are turned in to Student Health Services, which is located on the 2nd floor of the Frederick A. White Health Center. Questions regarding insurance should be directed to Joyce Smith.

Medical Records

A complete medical history is required on all residential and international students. Confidential medical files are kept on all students who visit Student Health Services.
