Your organization must be an approved organization, and your must have a WSU staff or faculty advisor to be granted space on the university's main Web server. Check with the Office of Student Activities if you have questions regarding these requirements.
Steps to Follow:
1. Advisor requests access to the university's main Web server using the online form located at http://www.wright.edu/web/request.html. Advisor is the "page owner," and the person creating/maintaining the pages is the "page publisher." The advisor and the page publisher must determine a review process for the organization's Web pages, since the advisor is ultimately responsible for the content and presentation of the Web site.
2. Advisor and page publisher receive e-mail notification and instructions once the access is set up. You will use your Campus username and password to access the Web server.
3. Page publisher creates (or updates) the organization's Web site. Be sure to review the guidelines of the university's Web Policy and the Web Accessibility Web site and guidelines before beginning your Web pages. Name your main or initial Web page "index.html" or "index.htm".
You may also wish to review the Web Style Guide and Internet Resources Web sites.
4. After the page publisher has completed the site, and it has been reviewed by the advisor, either the publisher or the advisor may request that a link be made from the Student Organizations Web page (http://www.wright.edu/studentactivities/studentorgs/org_list/index.html) to your organization's site. Send e-mail to student_activities@wright.edu. Be sure to note your organization's name and Web address and verify that the site has been reviewed and approved by your advisor.
