Diggs Laboratory
The Mathew O. Diggs III Laboratory for Life Science Research was funded in part by a gift from Matthew Diggs Jr., a former university trustee, with a deep interest in life sciences research, and his wife, Nancy. The building was named in memory of their son. Opened 11/8/2007, the highly energy-efficient building was officially rated LEED NC-Gold by the U.S. Green Building Council in 2008. This prestigious award places Wright State University at the forefront of green building design, since Diggs Laboratory is the first laboratory in Ohio to receive the LEED-NC Gold status.
