SAP Policy

After the Fall Quarter 2011 SAP evaluation, the next SAP evaluation is scheduled to occur at the end of Spring Quarter 2012.

Please note: Attempted credit hours are those credit hours for which students have received a grade of A, B, C, D, F, I, K, M, N, P, U, W, or X. Transfer credit hours and repeated coursework are included in total attempted credit hours. The attempted hours for a course in which a student receives an M grade will be considered credits earned.

SAP Requirements

1. Cumulative GPA

Undergraduate students must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher.
Graduate/doctoral students must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.

2. Completion Rate (67% Rule)

3. Maximum Timeframe (150% Rule)

Students must complete their program of study within 150% of the standard timeframe required to earn their degree. The maximum timeframe is 150% of the number of credit hours needed to complete degree requirements.
