“While in high school, I visited a friend who attended Wright State University and I immediately fell in love with the people and the campus. Needless to say, Wright State was my first choice for my college education. Growing up with just my mom has empowered me to become a strong woman, but helping with my college education has been difficult for my mom. She works hard to make many of the opportunities available here possible for me, but the scholarships I received have made all the difference in my success.”

“One of the great things about the Raj Soin College of Business is that everyone is always helping someone else. The professors are like no other teachers I’ve ever had. Not only has the faculty challenged and inspired me to reach my highest potential, they’ve been so supportive and willing to take the time to help connect me with the resources that have helped me succeed.”

“While working in the tutoring department at a local community college, I realized my passion is to work with students in higher education. After deciding to pursue my master’s degree in student affairs in higher education (SAHE), the program at Wright State immediately caught my eye. It has so much to offer and is highly regarded by graduates of the program, as well as administrators from other universities. I have been so impressed by the faculty and staff in the Graduate School – everyone really wants to help me succeed. My professors are so responsive to my questions, are quick to offer direction with assignments, and have made it clear that they are here to help me become the best I can be."

“I am tremendously fortunate to have found my dream and to have the ability to chase it. Scholarships are more than financial assistance, they are a lifted burden that cannot be measured. I look forward to the day when I can give back, as those have before me, and believe in the dreams of the next generation of physicians.”

“Wright State was the best choice for my college education – it is the perfect fit for my personality. Having to pay my own way through college, I am fortunate to receive scholarship support from Wright State which made it possible for me to attend a 4-year university instead of going to a community college.”
