Student Living
What's the best way to get the full university experience? Live on campus!
Our residential community is large and diverse. More than 3,000 students call Wright State home, living in spacious, on-campus dorms and apartments. Several thousand more live in apartments within a short drive or walk to campus.
Planning to commute? No problem! Wright State plans an array of activities that are open to residential and commuter students, alike.
Residential Students
Did you know that our student housing offers some of the largest living quarters in the region? Enjoy all that campus life has to offer with a front-row seat. You're in the middle of things, always in the know. Perhaps you'll gain leadership experience as a Resident Assistant (R.A.) or by serving on the Residential Community Association.Your biggest concern? Choosing which community to live in: would you choose one of our popular dorms (The Woods, Honors Community, and Hamilton Hall) or a furnished or unfurnished apartment (College Park, University Park, Forest Lane, and The Village)? Whichever one you choose, we're guessing you'll love it!
Commuter Students
Not living on campus? You're in good company. Many of our student leaders are commuter students. There's no reason to let living off campus keep you from fully participating in campus life. Check out the Commuter Student Association for leadership opportunities.Have some time between classes? Visit the Commuter Student Lounge in the lower level of the Student Union for a relaxing place to study and meet other commuter students. You can also take advantage of many of the same services offered to residential students, including meal plans and shuttle buses.
