Institutional Biosafety Program
In October 1994, Wright State University reconstituted the Institutional Biosafety Committee and appointed an Institutional Biological Safety Officer. The charge of the committee is to provide oversight on the use of recombinant DNA (rDNA), infectious biologicals and biological toxins.
The Department of Environmental Health & Safety provides assistance to the Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC) and The Office of Research and Sponsored Programs. Biological Safety Cabinet Maintenance and Field Certification Policy (Check back soon, under revision)
