We have made two major changes to the Army ROTC curriculum at Wright State.
- BUILDING LEADERS
The course content remains largely unchanged--Freshmen will still Rappel and Sophomores will still get lost on the Orienteering course--but the emphasis is now clearly on developing the student's leadership potential.
- HPR CREDIT
We have always expected students to be physically fit and to join in on our physical training program. Now students can enroll in HPR 100/101/102, Army Fitness Training and earn academic.

FRESHMAN COURSES
These courses focus on developing individual skills and confidence building which form the basis of leadership. These courses cover topics such as rappelling, marksmanship, first aid, and other fundamental skills. These courses are open to non-ROTC students without military obligation. Freshmen may also enroll in HPR 100, Army Fitness Training.

SOPHOMORE COURSES
These courses focus on developing basic supervisory skills. These courses cover the same topics as the 100 level courses but in greater depth. These courses are open to non-ROTC students without military obligation. Sophomores may also enroll in HPR 100, Army Fitness Training.

These courses are open to all students by permission of the instructor. These courses are graded Pass/Fail. There is a small Lab Fee.
