"Wright State sculpted and shaped me to be the performer I am today."

Tell us more about you and your life, your profession, and your successes.

I currently live in Orlando, Florida and I am an equity performer at Beauty and the Beast Live Onstage at Hollywood Studios. When I’m not working for Disney, I also perform at Universal Studios as a Beauxbaton dancer in Hogsmeade at the Triwizard Spirit Rally. I also spend some nights at the Edison at Disney Springs as a flapper dancer. I have also had the wonderful privilege of performing at the Walmart Shareholders Convention, Give Kids the World Gala, and I have worked in Disney Events that included Jodi Benson.

What is your favorite Wright State memory?

One of my favorite Wright State memories was having lunch with Tom Hanks with the other fellow Tom Hanks Scholarship recipients. He was so kind and really took his time to get to know all of us. It was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that Wright State gave me and I had the honor to get to perform for him after. It was amazing!

What did receiving the ARTSGALA scholarship mean to you?

The Artsgala scholarship meant the world to me. It was so amazing to get to perform every year and to get to meet the families that helped support me throughout my career at Wright State.

Is there anything else you’d like to share?

I hope I can come back to visit soon! Thank you for your constant support and drive throughout my Wright State career. Wright State sculpted and shaped me to be the performer I am today.
