ONCE AGAIN, THE CLINIC WAS A GREAT SUCCESS !
Twenty-five Division C Science Olympiad competitors from across the state of Ohio particpated in the morning and 13 Division B Science Olympians joined us in the afternoon along with their coaches. The teaching stations were headed by 13 students from the Graduate School of Wright State University including Masters, PhD, and medical students (and even two faculty). The subjects covered included:
- Microscopic histology of muscles and bones
- Diseases and gross anatomy of cardiac, skeletal, and smooth muscules
- Endocrinology from A to Z
- Anatomy of the axial and appendicular skeletal systems
- Cellular physiology of muscles
As in previous years, we ended each session by testing what had been learned with a game of Jeopardy.
All of the handouts provided the students are included in the list below for all who were unable to join us.
Best of luck to all who will be competing in the upcoming Regional, State and National Competitions!
