Eligibility Criteria

Available to full and part-time students with a minimum GPA of 2.7; Student must be the immediate family member (spouse, child, legal dependent, stepchild, or grandchild) of a Wright State University graduate who is a current annual member of the Wright State University Alumni Association and at least in their third consecutive year of membership or a paid-in-full life member at the time of application.

1. Submit a complete Undergraduate Admission Application by March 1 (prior to the start of the academic year).
2. Complete the online Alumni Association Legacy Scholarship Application by March 1 (prior to the start of the academic year).

Essay Requirements/ Expectations

Type and save your essay in an electronic document. Submit a 200 word essay detailing your commitment to community service and outline how you lived out that commitment in your own experiences (3,500 characters maximum). Have a Sinclair graduating cumulative GPA of 3.0 with an EUT or CIS/Software Development Associate's Degree. Pursue an engineering program at Wright State. Maintain full-time status and a 3.0 GPA at Wright State.

Eligibility Criteria

3.5 cumulative GPA; 36 transferable quarter hours or 26 semester hours; enroll full-time at Wright State University directly from two-year college; member of Phi Theta Kappa.

2. Complete the online scholarship application by the deadline date.
3. An online recommendation from a faculty member or advisor will be required. Please be sure to contact your intended reference prior to listing him/her. Your reference will be sent an e-mail to complete an online academic recommendation for you.
4. Submit a copy of your PTK membership to Raider Connect (via mail or fax to 937-775-4410) by March 1.
This is a competitive scholarship process, not an automatic award. Award decision is made by May 15.

5. Submit your final college transcript with your degree posted to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. Awards are made to eligible applicants after the final college transcript is reviewed by the Office of Financial Aid.
