Air Force Express Scholarship Program
Eligibility Criteria Be a U.S. citizen by the end of the projected term of activation, pass the Air Force Officer Qualifying Test (AFOQT), meet Air Force ROTC weight and body fat standards, pass the Air Force ROTC Physical Fitness Test, have a minimum 2.5 cumulative college GPA, pass a Medical Physical Exam, and be 17-30 years old. Must be majoring in an Air Force critically needed skill area such as Nursing, Engineering, or Foreign Language. For more information, visit www.afrotc.com.
How to Apply Applications are processed and approved at the detachment level. Contact Wright State University AFROTC Detachment 643 at (937) 775-2730.
Award Amounts Type I scholarships (Full tuition and fees, plus $900/year for books and monthly stipend). In many cases, the scholarship can activate during the same term as the nomination.
Additional Information The Express Scholarship program is operated on a fully qualified basis. Those who meet the qualifications are awarded the scholarship and do not meet a selection board. The processing of the scholarship award is completed at the local detachment.

Air Force In-College Scholarship Program
Eligibility Criteria Be a U.S. citizen by the end of the projected term, pass the Air Force Officer Qualifying Test (AFOQT), meet Air Force ROTC weight and body fat standards, pass the Air Force ROTC Physical Fitness Test, have a minimum 2.5 cumulative college GPA, pass a Medical Physical Exam, and be 17-30 years old. How to Apply All application materials will be completed at the Air Force ROTC detachment serving your school. Students are nominated by the Department Commander based on leadership ability, GPA, fitness, and extracurricular participation. Award Amounts Freshmen are awarded 3-year scholarships. Sophomores are awarded 2-year scholarships. Type II ($18,000/year for tuition and fees, plus $900/year for books and monthly stipend) and Type III scholarships (capped at $9,000/year for tuition and fees and $900/year for books). All scholarships activate the following Fall term.

Air Force ROTC High School Scholarship Program
Eligibility Criteria Must have minimum SAT composite of 1100 (Math and Verbal only) or ACT composite of 24, a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, and have a class ranking in the top 40%. Offers are made to high school senior and graduates who have not had any full-time college experience. Must be a U.S. citizen or be able to attain citizenship within one year.

Award Amounts Amounts vary from in-state tuition up to tuition and fees, plus $900/year for books and monthly stipend.

Centerville Women's Civic Club Scholarship
Eligibility Criteria Must be a resident of Centerville, Ohio; be an undergraduate sophomore, junior or senior at Wright State University; have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher; be intending to enroll as a full-time student.

Choose Ohio First (COF) Scholarships
Eligibility Criteria

Available to current WSU undergraduate or graduate students, admitted transfer students, and admitted high school seniors who are Ohio residents pursuing degrees in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or Medicine (STEMM); 3.0 GPA or above.

Students direct from high school must have successfully completed the Ohio college-preparatory curriculum; and have a minimum Math ACT score of 27 or Math SAT score of 620. More information found at www.wright.edu/chooseohiofirst/apply.html.

Dayton Defense STEM Scholarship
Eligibility Criteria

Must be a US Citizen and resident of Ohio; have completed one year at WSU in one of the following disciplines: a STEM major in the College of Engineering and Computer Science, or the College of Science and Math, or an ISOM major in the Raj Soin College of Business; be a current full-time student at Wright State University; have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. First preference is given to Dayton Defense members in good standing, or a member’s spouse or child(ren) at the time of scholarship application and award.

GED Hewitt Scholarship
Eligibility Criteria Must take the GED exam at one of the participating test centers in Greene, Montgomery, or Clark County and score an average of 650 or above. The Greene County test center will report results to WSU. Students who take the exam in Clark County or Montgomery County must provide the Office of Financial Aid with test results.
Award Amount $2,000 (highest score in each county will be upgraded to the value of in-state tuition)

Wright^Edge Academic Pipeline Scholarship
Eligibility Criteria

Undergraduate students with a 3.25 or better GPA (3.0 or better with strong recommendations) who are U.S. Citizens (or permanent residents) and pursuing an undergraduate degree in STEMM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, and Medicine) fields.

Additional Information The Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) is instituting a unique Academic Leadership Pipeline Scholars (ALPS) program to foster an intense experimental learning experience in residence at the Discovery Lab at Tec^Edge. It's primarily focused on undergraduate students but will consider others on a case by case basis. The goal of the program is to grow the next generation of scientists and engineers and help develop their leadership skills. Selected students will gain valuable educational experiences through research in their chosen field of study within a unique collaborative environment of government, industry, and university.
