Wright State University's First Year Student Scholarship Program is merit-based and designed to recognize academically outstanding and creatively talented students. More than 2,300 new freshmen were offered over $6 million in scholarships for the 2010-2011 academic year. Scholarships range in value from $500 to $17,500.

Competitive Honors Scholarships
- Applicants not selected for a Trustees Scholarship will be considered for the approximately 70 Honors Scholarships to be awarded. Finalists may be invited to campus for interviews with the selection committee. Competitive Honors award decisions are made by April 1.
- Recipients of Trustees and Honors Scholarships must complete the requirements for graduation as a University Honors Scholar. These requirements are described in detail on the Honors website at http://www.wright.edu/honors/.
