Assistance
To assist students with dependent children and child care expenses, either resources may be available to assist with those expenses or special considerations for child care expenses may be taken into account when determining financial aid awards.
Mini University
Wright State University's Child Development Center, Mini University (Mini U), offers a variety of programs for children six (6) weeks to twelve (12) years of age. The hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. For more information about Mini U, please call (937) 775-4070 or visit www.miniuniversity.net. Please note, further assistance may be available to you through the Department of Job and Family Services in the county in which you reside.

The WSU Mini U Subsidy provides a 10% to 25% discount (excluding children enrolled in Kindergarten) off of Mini U tuition |
| Eligibility Requirements |
Be enrolled as a degree seeking student, certification candidate or licensure student at WSU; be registered at least half-time at WSU in academically-related courses that meet during Mini U business hours; meet Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) requirements to receive federal student aid at WSU; and have an Expected Family Contribution (EFC) equal to or less than 10,000, as determined by the FAFSA |

Special Considerations
Federal student aid applicants may qualify to complete an Extraordinary Expense Petition due to child care expenses.
