First Flight 2018: Your Collegiate Success Summit

During First Flight 2018, the entire Class of 2022 will be on campus together for this mandatory program. You will meet with faculty and staff from your academic college, get tips on how to excel in your classes, learn more about important support services available to you, meet other members of the Class of 2022, and have fun!

There is no need to register for First Flight 2018 – we will see you on the North Lawn (Between the Student Union and Student Success Buildings)  at 10 a.m.

8:30–10 a.m. -  Beginning in Honors

009 Student Success Center
Honors Students will meet to learn specifics about the University Honors Program.


10–11 a.m. - Orientation Opening Session

North Lawn (Between the Student Union and the Student Success Center)

  • Commuter Students – Meet on the North Lawn located between the Student Union and the Student Success Center at 10 a.m.  Park in Lot 4.
  • Resident Students - Meet in your Residence Hall Floor Lounge at 9:45 a.m.

College Meetings

At your college meeting you will meet with faculty, touch base with an academic advisor, learn Student Success tips, receive college updates and mingle with students who share your major. We will have a special session for students who have not chosen a major.
