Scholarships for first-year students
Wright State University offers several scholarships for first-year students including Academic Performance Scholarships and Competitive Honors Scholarships.
Scholarship applications require Adobe Reader, which you can download at no cost from http://get.adobe.com/reader.
Wright State University's First Year Student Scholarship Program is merit-based and designed to recognize academically outstanding and creatively talented students. More than 1,700 new freshmen were offered over $6 million in scholarships for the 2008-2009 academic year. Scholarships range in value from $500 to $17,000.

Competitive Honors Scholarships
- Applicants not selected for one of the two Trustees Scholarships will be considered for the approximately 70 Honors Scholarships to be awarded. Finalists may be invited to campus for interviews with the selection committee. Competitive Honors award decisions are made by April 1.
- Recipients of Trustees and Honors Scholarships must complete the requirements for graduation as a University Honors Scholar. These requirements are described in detail on the Honors website at http://www.wright.edu/honors/.

(1) Submit a complete Undergraduate Admission Application by February 15 (prior to the start of the academic year); (2) complete the Online Alumni Association Legacy Scholarship Application process by February 15 (prior to the start of the academic year). The online scholarship link will be available in December 2009. |
