Costa Rica 2010
In December 2010, University Honors Program students joined other WSU students on the trip of a lifetime, the Ambassador Program to Costa Rica. Students spent three weeks in paradise while taking a course in Travel Literature (UH 201) and brushing up on their Spanish skills. Led by Professor Robert (Bobby) Rubin, students stayed with host families and visited Manuel Antonio National Park, which is a pristine beach and rainforest. Among the other sites visited were the Poas Volcano, a coffee plantation, Tirimbina Rainforest Preserve, and several museums in the capital city of San Jose.
