Notes from the USAC Community Service Subcommittee

□ We Serve U will be hosting an event on December 7th called Cards for Kids.

Children's Medical Center presents a cheerful card to each child with their meal tray. Stop in on your lunch hour (11am-1pm) and join your peers in the Student Union Atrium to create cards to cheer the wee ones. A Get Well or a Holiday card will put a smile on a deserving child's face! If you would prefer to create cards at your convenience, please feel free to drop off your completed cards (or finish it up) during this event!

□ We Serve U is also working on their Winter project. The project with help support Blue Star Mothers who send packages to soldier on active duty across seas.  The collection will run from Feb 1-15.

□ Staff can log community service hours on the We Serve U website.

□ We Serve U is looking for another Unclassified Staff member for the committee
