Wright State University became an independent institution in 1967 and spent the next 50 years growing into an innovative leader in affordable and accessible education. In 2017, we celebrate the first 50 years and set the course for the next half century.

Amanda Earnest

Staff, Web Developer/Designer

I have worked as a print and web designer in higher education marketing since 2006. Recently, with limited experience I took a flying leap and dove solely into web development and design. Wright State saw the potential in me when I didn’t. I’m thankful they gave me a chance.

Andrew Call

Staff, Publications Writer/Editor

My first day at Wright State was April 1, 2013. I stood near the Student Union, wondering how I could ever find my way around this huge campus. A student stopped and asked if he could point me in the right direction. That simple gesture helped more than he'll ever know.

Kyle O'Brien

Staff, Web Developer Designer
