Jim is the president of Petra Financial Solutions, Inc. in Kettering, OH. Jim incorporated Petra Financial Solutions in 1998. He received his Certified Financial Planner® designation in 1984 and his Masters in Financial Planning in 1999. Jim graduated from the University of Rochester and served in the U.S. Navy (Vietnam era). Over his 30+ years in the financial services profession, Jim has been an Investment Advisor Representative, Registered Principal, adjunct professor at Wright State University, served as an arbi-trator, and on the Board of the Dayton FPA for many years. Jim resides in Clayton, OH with his wife, Cheryl. He enjoy golfing, water sports, reading, missions work, and is an avid Buckeye football fan.
