Miami Valley Hospital - Lynn Zack

Lynn Zack is a registered nurse and team leader in the operating room at Miami Valley Hospital. Lynn has worked every position in the department. She’s an expert in her field and is the go-to person for questions. When she proctors, she teaches staff how to be professional, compassionate, and to maintain the standard of excellence that patients and surgeons expect. Lynn displays excellent patient care, develops great working relationships with staff members and surgeons alike, and is always willing to tackle projects that will improve the operating room. She is a calm presence, always mentoring others and searching for the best solution for every problem. She engages with patients and families by discussing their experience, listening to their ideas and suggestions, and making a plan to improve the patient’s experience. She is what other nurses strive to be—an exceptional caregiver with expert-level knowledge and a focus on delivering excellent care to every person every time. Lynn is also a certified operating room nurse.
