Best Article Award !Journal of Cognitive Engineering and Decision Making
Hall, Shattuck, & Bennett (2012) received the inagural presentation of The Best Article Award for the outstanding article published in the 2012 volume of the Journal of Cognitive Engineering and Decision Making. [click here to download] The rationale for this award was provided at the presentation ceremony: "A panel of experts including four Fellows and three associate editors examined all of the papers published in JCEDM during 2012 in a two-round process ... Panelists noted that this paper exemplifies the aims of JCEDM: contributions to a target domain, generalizability to other domains, and rigorous application of principles for supporting human performance. This paper documents a well-executed evaluation and experiment that articulates well the design process, theoretical underpinnings and concrete design applications.
