Dr. HuangĄ¯s research interests are primarily in the field of electrochemical energy conversion/storage systems:

  • fuel cells; batteries; supercapacitors.





  • Dr. HuangĄ¯s research emphasizes on:
    1. developing nanomaterials with superior ionic, electronic, and catalytic properties;
    2. understanding distinguished characteristics in electrochemical systems;
    3. prototyping high-performance electrochemical energy devices by utilizing nano-structured materials.
    Other research activities include: nanomaterials, thin films, and corrosion.
