Rebecca Monnin

Hi! I am a Student Advocate and Case Manager in the Student Advocacy and Wellness Office and have worked at Wright State since March of 2020. Before this, I served as a School Counselor in the K-12 setting. I love this job because I get to help students to be successful in their academic and personal lives. It is an honor and a privilege to serve in this role. I have an M.S.Ed. (Masters in School Counseling) from the University of Dayton, a B.A. (Bachelor of Arts) from Miami University, and an A.A.B. (Associate of Applied Business) from Rhodes State College. In my fee time, I enjoy camping, hiking, reading, and spending time with friends and family.

Tylar O'Neal-White

My name is Tylar O'Neal-White and I am working as the Power Based Violence Program Coordinator at Wright State. This position is a grant-funded position from the Office of Violence Against Women and my main responsibility is managing the Wright State's Coordinated Community Response Team (CCRT). The CCRT is a multidisciplinary team made up of members from different departments all across campus who are invested in enhancing Wright State's capacity to respond to and prevent power-based violence. The team has been involved in revamping campus policies, updating training for police and conduct staff, and supporting existing efforts to enhance victim/survivor services. I have also been involved in implementing programming to educate the community on power-based violence and resources for survivors. I earned both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Wright State University with my Bachelor's in Rehabilitation Services and my Masters in Social Work. My professional background has mostly been in power-based violence, so I was excited to have the opportunity to take the skills I've learned working in the community and bring them to my alma mater!  Being a victim/survivor of power-based violence can make college life especially difficult, so I am happy to be part of a team that strives to help students get the services they need to be successful. I definitely love my job and am happy to participate in changing campus culture for the better!
