WSURA to host the 5th Annual WSU Retirees Luncheon April 25

All Wright State University retirees are invited to the Fifth Annual Wright State University Retirees Luncheon on Thursday, April 25, in the Nutter Center Berry Room. This year’s luncheon will celebrate the 25th anniversary of the founding of the Wright State University Retirees Association (WSURA). In recognition, WSURA will present service awards to one retired faculty member and one retired staff member.

Men’s Basketball Coach Scott Nagy, who has been named Horizon League Coach of the Year, will be the featured speaker. He will talk about his coaching philosophy, his transition to Ohio and Wright State, and his hopes and plans for the team.

Doors at the Berry Room will open at 11 a.m. and, following brief remarks by WSURA Board President Joyce Howes, a buffet lunch will begin at noon. A vegetarian option will be available. Cost of the event is $25 per person. Seating arrangements offer both open and reserved tables for eight. So, when mailing in your check payable to WSURA, be sure to include a list of the names of attendees in your party if you want to reserve a table.

This is a great opportunity for Wright State retirees to reconnect with old colleagues and maybe even make some new friends. RSVPs are due by Monday, April 15. To reserve your space, download the invitation (PDF), fill it out, and send it with your check made out to WSURA to: Mary Gromosiak, 3204 Seton Hill Dr., Bellbrook, OH 45305. Sorry. We are not able to accept credit cards or online reservations. For more information, contact WSURA at wsu_retirees@wright.edu.
