WSURA presents: What do the midterm election results tell us?

Lee Hannah

The Nov. 8 midterm election will decide whether Democrats retain control of both chambers of Congress, or Republicans win power in either—or both. Polls suggest the Senate contest in Ohio pitting Democrat Tim Ryan against Republican J.D. Vance is within the margin of error. Many observers believe the results of this election will shape the second half of President Joe Biden's term and have a major impact on the state and national level for years to come.

Join your fellow Wright State retirees on Zoom on Thursday, Nov. 10, 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m., to look back at the 2022 election season and discuss the results with Dr. Lee Hannah, WSU associate professor of political science. RSVP by Tuesday, Nov. 8, by sending your full name to WSURA at wsura@wright.edu. Please put "Midterms" in the subject line. We will email you a link and instructions for joining the discussion.
