WKEF: Wright State adds new options for on-campus COVID-19 vaccination, incentivizes students

Excerpt from WKEF

As COVID-19 continues to spike across Ohio, Wright State University’s COVID-19 Task Force is working to incentivize employees and students to get vaccinated and make vaccinations more accessible.

As the university and task force continue collecting data on the vaccination status, they are giving people a sweepstakes opportunity. Beginning next week, employees and students can upload a picture of their federal COVID-19 vaccination card to a secure medical third-party website. They can then go from there to enter in a voluntary sweepstakes.

More details on the sweepstakes, including the rules and a list of prizes, will be released soon.

To help facilitate additional vaccinations, Wright State University is planning on opening a convenient, centralized on-campus COVID-19 vaccination and testing site on the Dayton Campus. This site will support increased testing of faculty, staff, and students.

The COVID Task Force continues to work with Lake Campus employees and students to promote vaccination and testing. Lake Campus employees and students can get vaccinated and tested through regional community partners. You can go here for more information.
