CoLA Priority Funds

This scholarship supports students in the College of Liberal Arts with leadership qualities with a minimum gpa of 3.0.
This scholarship is for Liberal Arts majors who plan to study abroad and who have attained a minimum gpa of 3.0.
This fund is used at the discretion of the Dean of the College of Liberal Arts.

CoLA General Funds

Supports any junior or senior College of Liberal Arts major with financial need and a gpa of at least 2.5
Supports students who come from families who do not qualify for either need-based or merit-based scholarships
This fund supports the faculty development awards for College of Liberal Arts Faculty
Funds awards for teaching excellence, scholarships for study abroad inititaives and other areas.

This fund supports the acquisition of art for the permanent collection and the purchase of teaching materials

This scholarship supports full-time juniors or seniors with declared majors in Mass Communication and preference to students with financial need.

This award pays for full tuition for a senior studying Organization Communication. Remaining balance may be used for program expenses.

This fund is used for any and all activities in the Crime and Justice Studies program
This scholarship is for Crime and Justice Studies majors.

English

This scholarship is for English majors who have an emphasis on Creative Writing. Students must have reached the junior status, and have a minimum gpa of 2.75 in order to be eligible for this scholarship.
This fund is used to provide improved teaching courses for undergraduates in the English Department
This fund was established to honor 15 men and women who founded and built WSU English Department. This fund will support activities and programs that: build & support student communities in the English Dept.; develop students' membership and participation in a professional community; sustain students' personal sense of professional identity; assist students in efforts to work collaboratively as professionals; give students experience in producing and editing a publication; support experiences for students that complement the academic regimen of the classroom; and provide students with opportunities to apply classroom learning.

This award supports undergraduate students who are studying abroad during the core academic year. First preference will be for students in the Department of Modern Languages. Students must have a minimum GPA of 3.4.
