2014 Lunar New Year Celebration Photos

The 2014 Lunar New Year Celebration featured a magic performance by world renowned Chinese magician, Ying Li, for a very enthusiastic crowd which included local high school and elementary school students from around the Miami Valley. The afternoon's entertainment also included the annual Kitchen God Report presented by Wright State Students, the meaning of both the Chinese and Vietnamese New Years, and performances by students from the Dayton Regional STEM School, the Richard Allen School, and the Miami Valley School

Visitors to the celebration also had the opportunity to have their names written in Chinese calligraphy, make origami lantern strings, play traditional Chinese and Vietnamese games, make paper lanterns and firecrackers, have their fortune told, take pictures in front of them ural backdrops, make red "hong bao" lucky envelopes, get their face painted, and enjoy traditional New Year foods like dumplings and noodles.
