WINGS Announcements are visible in the Announcements section on WINGS. Generally used for short campus announcements such as events and upcoming classes available for registration, messages can be directed toward students, employees, or everyone.
For university-level campus email requests that are not event-specific in nature, please visit the Office of Communications Campus Email Request page.
Students, faculty, staff
When requesting an announcement in WINGS, please provide the following details through the appropriate request form link (CaTS) or in an email sent to the appropriate contact:
- Message Title
- Blurb—First 250 characters to appear as teaser information
- Body text
- Contact email for questions regarding announcement (including: name and department)
- Select audience of faculty, staff, student or all. Campus announcements can be filtered by end users, helping modify their view to see only the messages targeted to their role.
