Wellness Programs and Resources

On this page:

The university is offering resources and opportunities this summer to focus on our wellness and connections with one another. See below for all resources being offered!

Programs

Walking Wednesday (Dayton Campus)

The 40-minute noontime walks will begin at the red Turning Points sculpture (BART) adjacent to University Hall and will provide a chance to connect with colleagues, share ideas, and have conversation with President Sue Edwards and members of the university leadership team in an informal setting outside the usual office spaces. Walking paths will be accessible and may be moved to the tunnels depending on the weather. Watch your email to be notified of any change in the meeting place. Wednesday Walks will begin July 13 and run through August.

Make sure to wear appropriate shoes and bring your hat and sun screen!

Lake Campus Connections

A 40-minute noontime walk at the Lake Campus will begin at Dwyer Hall (near the murals) on Monday, July 25, beginning at noon. This event will provide a chance to connect with colleagues, share ideas, and have conversation with President Sue Edwards and members of the university leadership team in an informal setting outside the usual office spaces. In the event of inclement weather, the walk will be rescheduled and the new date posted here.

Members of the Lake Campus are also invited to socialize with President Sue Edwards and members of the university leadership team on Thursday, August 11, from 10–11 a.m. in Dickie Hall.
