New Hire Benefits

Welcome to Wright State University!  If you are a new employee (51%-100% FTE), you will have the opportunity to enroll for any insurance benefits that you are eligible for.  Please review the sections below for detailed plan, eligibility, and cost information.

Reminder: Employee benefit plan enrollments have a deadline of 31 days from your date of hire. Enrollment for new faculty and staff is completed by following the three (3) steps below.  Retirement plan enrollments have a deadline of 120 days from your date of hire.  Retirement elections are completed by submitting the Retirement Plan Election Form (PDF) to Human Resources.

Step 2: Read through the Benefits below.  Fill out your checklist as you go.

Step 3: Make your benefit elections online!  On your first day of employment, you will receive an email in your Wright State account with a link to complete your benefit elections online.**
