Spring 2019 Submission Deadline: Friday, March 15, 2019, by 5:00 p.m.

Who is eligible?

Graduate students at Wright State, who are registered for at least one credit hour, are eligible to apply for one or both grants. However, one may only apply to one type of grant per semester. Note: Meeting the application requirements does not ensure receipt of grant funds; the grant application review process is competitive and not all applicants will receive funds.

Grant Types

The GSA offers two types of grants: the Original Work Grant and the Professional Development Grant.

  • The Original Work Grant is intended to support research conducted by WSU graduate students.
  • The Professional Development Grant is intended to help students enhance their graduate-level education through participation in conferences, seminars, and workshops as well as other activities related to furthering the students’ careers.
