Weeks of Welcome: Clap In and Cookout with the President

Our final WOW tradition is the Clap in and Cookout. 

The Clap In will consist of faculty and staff lining the walkway of the Mall to cheer you on and clap you in to Wright State. Students will walk down the Mall within the college. This tradition is near and dear to our hearts as you start your college career. The next time you will participate in an experience like this will be at graduation. 

After you walk the Mall, you will enjoy a free cookout lunch on the Quad. You are welcome to sit anywhere and with anyone! Enjoy some shade, delicious food, music, and conversation with other first year students. The University Administration, faculty and staff will be present too! Feel free to say hello, take photos, and enjoy conversation!
