Veteran and Military Center: VMC Veteran Ally Training

The VMC Veteran Ally Training serves as the foundational training (one of four) to become a VMC Student Champion.

Army Veteran and Psychology Student Zac Collette will facilitate a two hour training focused on understanding the foundation elements of military culture, developing an appreciation of the most common challenges facing our student veterans, and will provide suggestions and tactics to meet our student veterans and military-affiliated student where they are in their academic journey. Mr. Collette will be joined by the VMC staff, Director Seth Gordon and the University School Certifying Official Joseph Young as well as a select group of student veterans to share their stories and strategies to improve student veteran and military-connected student success.
