The Wright State University Musical Theatre/Acting Preparatory Program (MAPP) presents the mid-west premiere of GOSSIP by New York City playwright, Brian Hampton and directed by Wright State University Assistant-Professor of Acting, Marya Spring Cordes and the MAPP Student Showcase featuring the work of students currently enrolled in the program.

GOSSIP is a new play about a group of high school friends that graciously befriend a mysterious and infectious new student. However, as stories are manipulated and relationships crumble, all roads tragically lead back to one place. Gossip. The cast will consist of 2 males, three females and a small ensemble of actors. In June 2013, GOSSIP was performed in New York City as part of The Puzzle: Marble’s Festival of New Work.

The MAPP Student Showcase features scenes, monologues, and songs from the semester of work directed by Jamie Cordes, Wright State University Senior Lecturer.
