MBA Placement Testing for Foundation Courses

Dear MBA Student:
 
Placement testing for the selected MBA foundation courses will occur on the following dates:
 
Wednesday, November 13th
Times:  9am, 10am, and 11am
Location:  167 Rike Hall
 
Wednesday, November 20th
Times:  9am, 10am, and 11am
Location:  167 Rike Hall
 
The placement exams are optional for qualified students who wish to place out of one or more of the following courses:
 
MBA 5200 – Survey of Economics
MBA 5300 – Survey of Finance
MBA 5800 – Survey of Quantitative Business Analysis
 
 
Eligibility:
To be eligible to sit for a placement test, you must have academic credit in the related field.  Students who wish to sit for the MBA 5300 placement test must already have credit for MBA 5100 (Survey of Financial Accounting).
 
Registration:
Advance registration is required.  To register for one of the placement testing dates, please contact the Raj Soin College of Business Academic Advising office at (937) 775-2437.  You will need to provide your university Wings login (W number), user identification number (UID), phone number, email address, and which exams you wish to sit for. 
 
Testing Information: 
You will be given 1 ½ hours to complete each exam.  The MBA 5300 and 5800 exams will be conducted in 167 Rike Hall and are computerized.  The MBA 5200 exam will be conducted in the Department of Economics in 290 Rike Hall.  You will need to bring the following to the placement test:  your login account information and a picture ID.
