Free WSU Libraries' workshop designed for those with little-to-no knowledge about intellectual property marks. Learn trademark basics, including the differences b/w federal and state registrations, and common law marks. The mechanics of searching for the availability of marks wil be demonstrated using various resources. The federal registration system TEAS (Trademark Electronic Application System) will also be demonstrated.

The WSU Libraries are a Patent & Trademark Resource Center (PTRC) affiliated with the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office.

Open to the campus and to the public. Free & convenient parking.

Seating is limited. Registration requested.
