Outside of the Bookstore in the Student Union & the Library lobby
This is a wonderful opportunity to help out a local family in need, help reduce our carbon footprint, and free up space in our closet that is currently being taken up by clothing we may not wear anymore!
The locations of the collection boxes will be in the Library lobby and right outside of the bookstore in the Student Union. These will be larger cardboard boxes with a poster attached that has details of what is and is not being accepted. The Library location will also have a standard poster board beside the bin to catch your eye and give information about the drive.
We ARE accepting:
-gently used clothing (pants, jeans, blouse, t-shirt, hats, gloves, shoes, etc.)
*This includes all genders of clothing and from any age group
- NEW undergarments still in the packaging (underwear, socks, bras, etc.)
-toiletries (pads, tampons, pantyliners, diapers, body wash, shampoo/conditioner, deodorant, etc.)
We are NOT accepting:
-used undergarments (Ex: bra, underwear, socks)
-ripped/stained/heavily worn clothing of any kind (this has to be wearable by someone else!)
Donations from this drive will be donated to the YWCA of Dayton and local women's shelters, dependant upon need and amount donated.
**We will also be hanging up flyers for the drive around campus and posting on social media to spread the word.
